MAX Infrastructure Limited Signs Contract with DMTCL for MRT Line-1, Package CP- 01

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), Roads and Highways Department of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh signed a contract yesterday with the JV of Tokyu Construction Co., Limited (Japan) & MAX Infrastructure Limited (Bangladesh) at the city’s Sheraton Dhaka Hotel for the Contract Package Number CP-01: Soil Improvement and Land Development at Pitalgonj Depot for MRT Line-1.
Mr. A B M Amin Ullah Nuri, Secretary, Road Transport and Highways Division, presided over the Signing Ceremony. H.E. Mr. Ito Naoki, Ambassador of Japan in Bangladesh and Mr. Ichiguchi Tomohide, Chief Representative, JICA Bangladesh Office graced the occasion as special guests.
From the contractor’s end, Engr. Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir, Chairman, MAX Group, Mr. Masakazu Konishi, Executive Officer and Division Officer, Tokyu Construction Co., Limited and Mr. Mitsuaki Okuda, Chief Representative, Tokyu Construction Co., Limited (Dhaka Office) were present at the ceremony. Among others, Mr. M. A. N. Siddique, Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) and Md. Abul Kashem Bhuiyan, Project Director of Contract Package Number CP-01, MRT Line-1, etc. were also present.
